ISLABABAD: In response to a call given by PTI on May 9 (tomorrow), the government has decided to present its narrative.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to pay homage to the country’s martyrs on May 9. According to government sources, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, a big ceremony will be organized in Islamabad Convention Center in honour of the martyrs. Pakistan army, police, security agencies and families of martyrs fighting terrorism will be invited to the ceremony. The Prime Minister and federal cabinet members will participate in the ceremony. The Prime Minister will address the event and also make an important policy statement.
Diplomats will also participate in the ceremony, along with civil and military leadership. Solidarity with martyrs will also be expressed in the cabinet meeting. The cabinet will also approve the government policy regarding May 9.
