LAHORE: Hot and humid weather with partly cloudy conditions was observed in the city here on Wednesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while very hot in central and southern parts with dust raising/gusty winds during evening/night. Wednesday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Shaheed Benazirabad and Dadu where mercury reached 48°C while in Lahore it was 41.5°C and minimum was 24.9°C.
