Education for all

Wednesday, May 15, 2024

There is no denying the fact that education is the cornerstone of every country’s progress. Unfortunately, there is widespread education disparity in Pakistan, both in urban and rural areas. Many women are deprived of their constitutional right to education due to entrenched patriarchy and traditional customs, norms, and values that confine women to the home, violating their human rights.

It is imperative for the incumbent government and other stakeholders to address this issue by providing free quality education to women nationwide. This can be achieved through parental awareness campaigns and promoting social values that open the doors of opportunity for women, enabling them to participate equally with men in all spheres of life.
