ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Hasina Saqlain Tuesday announced the decision unilaterally to conduct the proceedings in the defamation case against Murad Saeed due to his continuous absence and failure to appear in the court.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal appeared in the court with his lawyer Qaiser Imam.
The hearing was adjourned till May 23. It is to be noted that Ahsan Iqbal had approached the court for defamation action against Murad Saeed for alleging bribery in the Multan to Sukkur Motorway project.
