KARACHI: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Monday announced postponing the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations to be held between May 21 and May 27 by a week due to the heatwave forecast for Sindh.

A BSEK notification explained that the decision was made because of the heatwave alert from the national and provincial disaster management authorities. The exams will now resume on May 28, with a new schedule for the postponed exams to be announced later.
