LAHORE: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Punjab will hold protest demonstrations outside all hospitals across Punjab on Tuesday (today) against health authorities' anti-doctor policies and denial of the rights of doctors and patients.
The doctors will hold protest at Ferozepur Road, Jail Road, Mall Road in provincial capital and major highways of Punjab. The YDA Punjab President Dr Shoaib Khan Niazi said that the patients are facing severe shortage of medicines in the government hospitals. Wastage and plundering of public money in the name of renovation should be stopped and the hospitals should be audited. "The future plan of action will be announced in due course of time," he added.
