2 workers die after falling into sugarcane tank

LAHORE: Two workers died after falling into a sugarcane juice tank in Chuhng police area on Wednesday. A sugarcane tank was being filled with juice extracted from sugarcane at a flour mill on Multan Road, Chuhng. During the process, a pipe of the tank became blocked. While attempting to repair it, two workers, identified as Aslam Hameed (60) and Nauman Rasheed (25), fell into the tank. Rescue team retrieved the bodies from the tank and shifted to mortuary.
