LAHORE: A leader of PTI and former health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid remained under the supervision of doctors at Services Hospital Lahore for the second day.
The doctors provided treatment after receiving the blood tests and other diagnostic reports. According to the hospital administration, Dr Yasmin complained of pain in the morning following which Prof Dr Khadija did a detailed examination at Medical Unit II.
Dr Yasmin Rashid vomited and had high blood pressure when she was shifted to the hospital from the jail the other day. As she was due to appear in court on Thursday, the doctors advised her not to appear due to her physical condition. Dr Yasmin had dehydration, she was given fluids. She was also given injections to reduce pain.
Talking about the health of Dr Yasmin, Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that, according to the doctors, Yasmin Rashid's condition is normal. The doctors have been instructed to provide treatment on merit, complete health facility is the basic right of every patient.
He said that doctors would decide whether to admit the patient for treatment, and the Punjab government does not interfere in the treatment of Yasmin Rashid. The Services Hospital administration is providing the best facilities for the treatment, he added.
