LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a step forward in finalising the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy, scheduled for next year. They have submitted a draft schedule to the ICC for approval.
The tournament will be held in three Pakistani cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The cricketing extravaganza will kick off on February 19th, 2025, and culminate in the final on March 9th.
Lahore will be the center of attention, hosting seven matches including the championship finale.
Karachi’s National Stadium will stage the opening ceremony and a semi-final, while Rawalpindi will witness five matches, including the other semi-final. A total of 15 matches are planned, with the Indian team slated to play all their encounters in Lahore.
