The government must invest extensively in education and skill training programmes to create an empowered workforce through various schemes and training courses. Additionally, various private institutions can provide skill-development programmes in high-demand areas such as software development, web development, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
Tevta can play a significant role in skills training by offering various IT-related programmes through its network of accredited institutions. Pakistan needs to adopt strategies to strengthen its educational infrastructure, promote public-private partnerships, and provide industry-aligned training to develop a more skilled workforce to unlock the potential of its services sector. We need to adopt measures that can help Pakistan increase its exports, create job opportunities, and attain economic diversification.
