LAHORE: A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team has raided and sealed the warehouses and shops of a sugar dealer in Sadiqabad.
The action follows an investigation into a scandal involving the dealer, who failed to pay billions of rupees to local businessmen after purchasing sugar.
The main accused, Sheikh Rashid, along with co-accused Kashif Ali and Faisal Ali, are being proceeded against under the law.
The assistant commissioner concerned has been appointed the receiver of the frozen properties of the accused.
