LAHORE: Post Graduate Medical Institute/Lahore General Hospital (PGMI/LGH) Principal Prof Dr Al-Fareed Zafar has said the LGH has launched a helpline number for 24 hours working to ensure timely treatment of patients at emergency department.
"This service - 0337-7803307 and landline 042-99268817- is being introduced first time in any public sector hospital. DMSs of three shifts will be responsible to personally listen to every incoming call,” said Dr Al-Fareed Zafar while talking to patients / attendants at LGH.
He said the hospital management of the three shifts will personally monitor the performance of the doctors because provision of uninterrupted treatment facilities to the citizens is the primary responsibility.
