LAHORE: Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Chairman Dr Shahid Munir called on Governor Sardar Saleem Haider and congratulated him on assuming the office. In the meeting held at the Governor's House, Dr Shahid briefed the governor on the performance of the Commission. Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that as chancellor, improving quality education and research in universities was his priority. He said that steps were being taken for permanent appointments on administrative seats in universities of Punjab.
