ISLAMABAD: Reacting to Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal’s press conference, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) spokesperson said the possibility of reforming the country’s economy without political stability is unimaginable, saying reports of China revisiting the ranking of relations with Pakistan are worrying.
In a statement issued here, he termed Fitch’s latest comments on the country’s economy as very important and eye-catching and said the possibility of reforming the country’s economy without political stability is unimaginable. He said one world body after another, he noted is expressing its views about the destruction of Pakistan’s economy and its future while the rulers are not ready to listen to any reasonable voice.
He said that the entire emphasis is being put on strangulating the economy and piling up debts, adding this is the third government after regime change, which is causing the destruction of the economy.
He said the destruction of the economy is becoming a direct threat to national security and time is fast getting out of hand.
Separately, the spokesperson alleged, “The people of KP are being subjected to the worst discrimination and vengeance because of their political views and ideologies.
All the forces of the federation are constantly engaged in provocative actions against the country’s only representative and democratic government in KP,” he claimed.
“On purely political grounds, the legitimately elected government of the province continues to be threatened, blackmailing the people’s chief minister and subjecting millions of people of the province to naked political vengeance,” he alleged.
