LAHORE: On the orders of Punjab Ombudsman Major (retired) Azam Suleman Khan pending dues of Rs5 million were paid to 18 complainants across the province.
Following the directions of the Punjab Ombudsman, the Secretary Construction and Works, Deputy Director Labour Welfare and Secretary Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, provided legal relief of more than Rs5 million to 18 people whose applications for grant were pending since long.
