Pakistan's working-age population is growing at a rapid pace, reflected in the increasing number of degree-holders. Unfortunately this pace is not being matched by the growth in job creation, despite the fact that thousands of positions at the federal and provincial level have been lying vacant for years. Crime also appears to have become an inescapable part of society.
When will our present rulers and authority figures meet employment challenges in this changing globalized world? All things necessary to boost job creation must be done in order to save society from criminalization. If rulers fail to unleash potential then non-state actors and the outlaws exploit their talent and cash in on their naively. It is a point to ponder over.
