Islamabad: Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), reaffirmed her commitment to resolving the issues faced by deserving women beneficiaries of the program. During a meeting today at the BISP Headquarters with a delegation from the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Women's Wing, Senator Khalid emphasized the importance of addressing beneficiaries' concerns.
The delegation included Ms. Shazia Tahmas Khan, General Secretary, Ms. Meher Sultana, Information Secretary, and Ms. Ashbar Jadoon, Vice President. They apprised Chairperson BISP of the challenges faced by women beneficiaries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, such as the registration process and the provision of basic facilities at BISP payment campsites. Senator Rubina Khalid assured the delegation of her full support in resolving these issues. The delegation also extended an invitation to Senator Rubina Khalid to visit Kohistan.
