ISLAMABAD: The federal government has made it clear that the decision of the cabinet is to be followed and all government officials are allowed to travel only in economy class.
The Cabinet Division made this clarification in an office memorandum sent to all ministries and divisions due to inquiries made by government officials. The letter sent by the Cabinet Division deputy secretary to secretaries of all ministries and divisions, said that all ministers, ministers of state, advisers, special assistants, grade 22 officers will travel abroad in economy class. The orders will also apply to departments attached to ministries, corporations, regulatory bodies, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions.
