How to rescue the nation

Wednesday, Jul 17, 2024

The nation finds itself embroiled in significant conflicts, with authorities seemingly oblivious to pressing problems. The essence of wisdom and sincere intentions seems lost, replaced by short-term strategies that lead to continuous decline and escalating issues for citizens. One glaring example is the frequent increase in energy prices to pay off debts, along with the rising tax burden on the general public and salaried class. These measures worsen existing problems and fail to serve long-term interests.

A clear solution to the country's challenges exists: all stakeholders, including government, opposition, constitutional bodies, and the media, must unite. Through mutual agreement, they should take concrete steps to boost domestic production, providing robust economic support, creating employment opportunities, strengthening the national currency, and reducing foreign debt. Additionally, the tax system must be reformed to become corruption-free, transparent, and efficient in collecting taxes from the wealthy. This will increase government revenue, making debt repayment feasible and setting the nation on a sustainable growth path. Unity and decisive action are essential to navigate the current crisis. By focusing on long-term strategies, the country can reverse its decline and build a prosperous future for all citizens.
