LAHORE: Very hot, humid and cloudy weather was reported in the City here Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions with chances of rain during the next 24 hours.
Met officials said moderate monsoon currents were likely to penetrate from Arabian Sea in the south Sindh and northeast Punjab while a westerly wave was also present in upper parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and humid weather was expected in most parts of the country.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities across the country. Tuesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Nokkundi where mercury reached 47°C, while in Lahore, it was 38.5°C and minimum was 28.8°C.
