ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has increased rates of its broadband services in different parts of the country by up to 10 percent with effect from August 1, 2024.
According to communication shared by PTCL to its customers, the monthly bill of broadband services has been increased up to 10 percent with effect from August 1, 2024.
The sources said that the operational cost went up in the wake of higher prices of different items due to which the PTCL had to hike its tariff for fixed internet services. For certain parts of the country, this increase will become effective.
The PTCL sent out message by stating that following an increase in several businesses cost, effective August 1, 2024, monthly charges of PTCL Internet connection will be increased to Rs4230.
It is relevant to mention here that earlier the PTCL had revised its monthly tariff for both landline and broadband connections with effect from January 1, 2024.
