During the event, held in Karachi, Shah planted a tree to mark the beginning of the campaign, which will run till Aug 31. He emphasised that the campaign's primary goal was to encourage widespread tree planting, noting that environmental change was one of the biggest challenges of this century and Pakistan was significantly impacted by climate change.
