ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that there was no need to worry about the current political situation, adding that the government was stable.
Naqvi was talking to media people during his visit to Islamabad Model College for Girls on Wednesday. He said that the prime minister was working day and night with his team pull out the country from difficulties.
Responding to a question, about the statements of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, the interior minister said, “Only God knows who he will talk to and who he will not.” To another question, Mohsin Naqvi said that Federal Minister Khalid Mahmood Siddiqui has recently expressed concerns regarding IPPs. “However, I will speak to the PM again about the concerns of MQM,” the minister maintained, adding that the prime minister has already spoken with the Energy Minister for immediate solution of the issue.
He said that everyone has concerns about IPPs and the government would resolved this issue as prime priority. He said that the prime minister is consulting on resolving the issue.
