ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar landed back here at the Noor Khan airbase in the wee hours of Wednesday after attending the swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran.
Senator Dar, who led the Pakistan delegation to the ceremony, earlier had a chat with the late Ismail Haniyeh at the reception arranged by the host president hours before the assassination of the Hamas chief.
The late Palestinian leader reportedly inquired about the situation back in Pakistan and well-being of its leadership. Senator Dar shared his short video of his last hug with Hamas chief in the presence of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on his X account.
The three were also seen exchanging brief pleasantries. Ishaq Dar described his brief chat with the Hamas leader as memorable.
