LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to collide with the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025 due to a packed international cricket calendar for Pakistan. The PCB has proposed holding the PSL in April and May next year, a period traditionally occupied by the IPL.
The decision to shift the PSL’s schedule was necessitated by Pakistan’s hosting of a tri-series, the Champions Trophy, and a tour by the West Indies in 2025. The PCB held discussions with franchise owners to explore the most suitable window for the PSL. The PCB remains optimistic about finding a solution that benefits all stakeholders.
