The recent rains throughout Lahore have shown that we need proper planning to avoid such large-scale destruction in the future. Homes and commercial property should be built in a way that can withstand flash floods.
The authorities should also spend more on food security. This applies to all other areas in Pakistan too as the whole country is facing the threat of climate change. We must take proper steps to tackle all environmental challenges efficiently.
