BANNU: The elders of Miryan and other tribes on Wednesday announced to stage a protest sit-in against the kidnapping of a resident of Bannu tomorrow. The elders from all tribes of Bannu, including Miryan, held a grand jirga and decided to stage a protest sit-in for the immediate recovery of Pir Ahmad Shah on Friday. Traders’ organizations, students and layers’ fraternity also announced support to the proposed sit-in to press the government for acceptance of their demands.
