LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has initiated online submission and approval process for residential building plans.
The LDA Citizen Facilitation Centre (One Window Cell) has started accepting residential plans online. The LDA E-Khidmat Centre has received 12 plans from private schemes online and challans for these submitted plans have been issued.
The processing of plans will also be done online. LDA DG Tahir Farooq reviewed the online process at the E-Khidmat Centre. Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali and Chief Town Planner I Asad Uz Zaman briefed him.
Tahir Farooq said that reforms for citizens are ongoing at the LDA Citizen Facilitation Centre. He emphasised to minimise the time taken for the approval of residential building plans.
He said LDA will encourage online submission and approval for building plans, and physical submission and approval system will soon be discontinued.
