LAHORE: IGP Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has disbursed Rs9.5 million for the construction of houses for the families of 15 martyrs.
At a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, IGP gave away the final installment of Rs500,000 each to the families of seven martyrs. Previously, these families had received Rs2 million each in installments.
Four families were given double installments of Rs1 million each for construction work, and another four families received Rs500,000 each.
