Over a thousand doctors from rural Sindh don their graduation robes every year. These resilient health workers have to overcome a litany of issues from their first year of med school including the unavailability of experienced teaching staff, outdated equipment and several other basic amenities. Such inadequacies hamper their ability to study in peace. These issues must be addressed by Sindh’s health department.
