This refers to the letter ‘Cricket nightmare’ (September 5, 2024) by Moin Ahmed Awan. Pakistanis have been helplessly watching the decline of their team's performance for a year or two. Aside from Bangladesh, the team has also been defeated by relatively inexperienced teams like the USA and Afghanistan during this period.
Nevertheless, wise folks always turn a threat into an opportunity. It is futile to pick one reason or the other for this sad state of affairs. Instead, resources should be diverted to other sports and this defeat to Bangladesh should be seen as a blessing in disguise.
