Five people were injured when a portion of the balcony on the third floor of a building on Burns Road collapsed on Saturday.
The incident occurred as the balcony of a residential building gave way, sending debris onto diners at a restaurant below. Police and rescuers arrived at the scene and transported the injured individuals to the hospital, where one was reported to be in critical condition.
According to police, the collapse affected five people dining at the restaurant beneath the building. Additionally, three motorcycles were damaged in the incident. Rescue teams cleared the debris and demolished the remaining portion of the balcony to prevent further casualties.
