QUETTA: Two police personnel lost their lives due to a bomb explosion occurred near a police vehicle in Kuchlak on Saturday.
According to the police, a bomb exploded near a police vehicle in the Kuchlak area on the outskirts of Quetta. ASI Zainuddin and Muhammad Tahir were martyred and their bodies were shifted to the hospital.
Upon receiving the information, a heavy contingent of security forces arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, collected evidence, and began further investigations.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on the police vehicle in Kuchlak, expressing prayers for the martyrs and patience for the bereaved families. The prime minister said that those responsible for the attack will be brought to justice as soon as possible. He assured that the entire nation stands firmly with security forces against terrorism, and the fight against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti condemned the explosion near the police vehicle and paid tribute to the martyred police officers.
He emphasized that the invaluable sacrifices of the Balochistan police, levies, and security forces in the fight against terrorism cannot be forgotten.
He vowed to eliminate terrorists and their facilitators and highlighted that the entire nation stands alongside its brave forces in the fight against terrorism.
