MIRANSHAH: Unidentified armed men shot dead the manager of a bank at the Miranshah Bazaar here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that Akbar Zaman hailing from Bannu was serving as manager of a commercial bank in Miranshah. The sources said that the bank manager was going to Bannu after duty when unidentified armed men sprayed his car with bullets at the Miranshah Bazaar. Akbar Zaman died on the spot from his wounds. His body was taken to the Mir Ali Hospital. The accused fled the scene after committing the crime. The local police registered the first information report and started investigations.
