ISLAMABAD: Senior officials of the security institutions and intelligence agencies will give an in-camera briefing to the parliamentary leaders of political parties on present security situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces at the Parliament House on Wednesday.
The National Assembly Secretariat in a statement on Monday said that the Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has convened a meeting of the parliamentary leaders in the National Assembly and the Senate on Monday.
The meeting will be held at the Parliament House on October 02 (Wednesday). “At the meeting, a briefing will be given to the parliamentary leader regarding security situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces”, the statement said.
The announcement said that the meeting comprising parliamentary leaders from the National Assembly and the Senate will be in camera. It may be pointed out here at senior parliamentarians like Maulana Fazalur Rehman and others while speaking on floor of two houses, had expressed concerns over security situation in the two provinces.
