ISLAMABAD. The Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana acquitted former deputy chairman Senate Salim Mandviwala and others in the Kidney Hills reference while accepting NAB’s request.
According to the decision of the NAB Executive Board meeting on September 4, it was decided to withdraw the reference, the evidence available in the Executive Board meeting was reviewed, after consultation with the Prosecutor General, NAB chairman came to the conclusion that this reference has no grounds.
It is requested that the court should acquit all the accused according to the law. The court accepted the request of NAB to return the reference and ordered the acquittal of all 7 accused. The reference was filed against the accused in January 2021.
