ISLAMABAD: Under the rightsizing policy, the implementation of the decisions of the federal cabinet of August 27, 2024, has started and the Ministry of Health has merged three institutions into one.
The National Health Services Regulations and Coordination Division has merged Regional Training Institute Islamabad, National Institute of Population Studies Islamabad and National Institute of Fertility Care, Karachi, into a training and research institute with a focus on the population. The new institution has been placed under the management of the DG Population, Ministry of National Health. Deputy Secretary Admin Shahjahan has issued a formal notification of the merger.
