Students at the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad are suffering from stress due to the short duration given for paying semester fees. The fee ‘challan’ is uploaded only four days before the payment deadline and the university administration charges a penalty if fees are not paid before the due date. How is a student from an ordinary, middle class background supposed to pay university fees within four days?
The higher education authorities need to have a look at this system and university officials must extend the fee payment duration rather than spreading stress and chaos among the students.
