Islamabad : Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the Federal Government Polyclinic here on Saturday to inquire after the police personnel who were injured due to violence during the PTI's street protests.
He praised the personnel's morale and patience in the face of resistance from protesters. The minister told them that they had set a remarkable example of dedication to duty and upholding the law, so authorities were proud of them.
Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the police officials' critical role in maintaining peace in Islamabad and said he saluted them for ensuring law and order in the city.
He instructed the hospital administration to provide the best possible medical treatment to the injured personnel. Islamabad police chief Ali Nasir Rizvi accompanied the minister during the visit.
