LAHORE: Pakistan women are gearing up for their final Group A match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup against New Zealand on Monday (today).
The crucial game will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, scheduled to begin at 6 PM local time. The match against New Zealand is significant as Pakistan aim to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
The Pakistani team had rigorous practice Sunday at the ICC Academy Ground from 6 PM to 9 PM. Head Coach Mohammad Wasim oversaw the session, with assistance from Fast Bowling Coach Junaid Khan, Spin Bowling Coach Abdul Rehman, and Fielding Coach Hanif Malik.
Captain Fatima Sana also arrived in Dubai from Karachi and joined the practice session in the evening. Sana had gone to Karachi due to the sudden passing away of her father before the match against Australia. She will lead the Pakistani team in the crucial match against New Zealand.
