Rawalpindi: Another patient belonging to Rawalpindi district has lost her life due to dengue fever here at Holy Family Hospital in town in the last 24 hours, that has taken the total number of deaths so far caused by the infection from the district to 11.
Data collected by ‘The News’ on Wednesday has revealed that a 50-year old female patient, who was a resident of Chanaam Village Gangothi Barhamna in Tehsil Kallar Syedan of Rawalpindi district, has lost her life due to dengue fever. The patient was undergoing treatment at Holy Family Hospital in town.
The data also reveals that another 141 individuals have tested positive for dengue fever from Rawalpindi taking the total number of patients so far confirmed positive from the district to 4568 on Wednesday morning of which as many as 268 confirmed patients of the infection were undergoing treatment at the teaching hospitals in town.
