Punjab has launched numerous uplift projects across the province. I am confident these projects will be completed on time, given that Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif is dynamic, dedicated, and result-oriented. She also does not tolerate the malaise of laziness within her cabinet.
Conversely, little of substance has been initiated for the rural areas of Sindh. Progress on several public utility projects that were inaugurated years ago in my beloved Larkano division and other parts of the province has stagnated for various reasons. I urge the honourable prime minister to instruct the relevant federal ministries to launch much-needed uplift projects in the rural areas, particularly focusing on roads and highways, to ensure fiscal and social justice.
