LAHORE : The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has implemented extensive cleaning arrangements for the annual Raiwind Tablighi Ijtima.
Under the guidance of LWMC Chief Executive Officer Babar Sahib Din, over 120 workers and 25 vehicles are actively engaged in maintaining cleanliness throughout the Ijtima. To ensure cleanliness, three water bowsers are sprinkling water. Workers are working in three shifts, focusing on manual sweeping and waste collection in and around Raiwind Haveli and the Pandal.
Additionally, mechanical sweeping and washing of the roads leading to the venue are underway. CEO Babar Sahib Din emphasised that as in previous years LWMC is committed to providing the best possible cleanliness arrangements for the pilgrims attending the Ijtima.
