Wins for Hyderabad, FATA, Rawalpindi, Karachi Whites in Quaid Trophy

LAHORE: Karachi Whites, Hyderabad, FATA, and Rawalpindi beat their respective rivals in the premier first class event of the country on Sunday.

On the third day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match at the Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi defeated Azad Jammu Kashmir by an innings and 144 runs.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir team was bowled out for 149 runs in the second innings. Shadab Khan took three wickets for seven runs.

Hyderabad beat Lahore Whites by 6 wickets at Murghazar Cricket Ground, Islamabad. Hyderabad had a target of 131 runs to win which they achieved for the loss of 4 wickets. Bilawal Bhatti of Hyderabad took 10 wickets in the match.

Dera Murad Jamali lost the match by an innings and 129 runs after being bowled out for 149 runs in their second innings against FATA at Rana Naveed Academy Sheikhupura. Samin Gul took 5 wickets.

Karachi Whites beat Multan by 3 wickets at Ashfaq Ground, Charsadda. They were given a target of 216 runs to win. Ghazi Ghori scored 68 runs.

At the Multan Cricket Stadium, Sialkot scored 439 runs against Quetta’s 263 runs. Jalat Khan took four wickets. Quetta scored 108 runs for 3 wickets in the second innings.

Faisalabad were bowled out for 189 in the first innings against Abbottabad at National Ground, Islamabad. Muhammad Adil took five wickets. Abbottabad declared 203 runs for 8 wickets in the second innings. Khayyam Khan scored 96 runs. Ahmed Safi and Shahzad Gul took three wickets each.

Faisalabad have got a target of 420 runs to win. At the end of the game, they were 69 for 2. In Saeed Sports City, Lahore, Karachi Blues were bowled out for 209 runs against Lahore Blues in their second innings. Qasim Akram took four wickets.

Lahore Blues have got a target of 206 runs to win. At the end of the game, they were 42 for 1.

Peshawar were bowled out for 321 runs in their second innings against Bahawalpur at the Abbottabad Stadium. Iftikhar Ahmed and Moaz Sadaqat scored half-centuries. Mehran Sanul took four wickets.

Bahawalpur have got a target of 344 runs to win. At the end of the game they were 7 for 1.
