In a major development in the murder case of a retired Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) employee, the Clifton police have claimed finding the prime suspect.
The Clifton police made a significant progress in the case of the murder of 65-year-old retired KMC employee Ghani Rehman, locating the main suspect and arresting two individuals involved in concealing the body.
The arrested suspects, who were identified as Sirrur Rehman, son of Saif-ur-Rehman, and Nawab Khan, son of Anar Khan, were friends of the deceased. Despite knowing about the murder, the suspects hid the body the day after the killing, indicating involvement in the case.
The incident occurred on October 26 on the third floor of a building in Clifton's Tauheed Commercial area, following which a case was registered at the Clifton police station. The victim was a former employee of the KMC’s sports department. He was a resident of Shah Rasool Colony.
