ISLAMABAD: Athletes from seven South Asian countries will compete in the one-day South Asian (SA) Cross Country Athletics Championship to be staged here at the confined area of F-9 Park on November 24.
Former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Gen (r) Ehsanul Haq Bajwa held a press conference to disclose that a private housing society will sponsor the event. “The athletes from seven South Asian countries will be competing in the Cross Country event which will be confined to F-9 Park only,” the speakers said.
