The road infrastructure in Sindh is deplorable. The transport authorities must improve road infrastructure in the entire province, especially in the rural areas. Moreover, there is a dire need for the construction of a proper road linking the Hamal Wahan and Tharo Threcho villages in Larkana to the surrounding areas. The residents of these villages face several problems during the rainy season as the dirt road currently available to them floods and becomes impassable.
Many patients in need of urgent care have lost their lives while being transported to hospitals in Larkana city. Proper road connectivity is essential not only to save these lives but for overall rural development as well.
