QUETTA: An FIR has been registered against PTI leaders in Quetta on multiple charges, including attempted murder, interference in government duties, and terrorism, totaling 11 charges.
According to police officials, the charges stem from an unauthorized PTI rally held at Hockey Chowk, where leaders and supporters allegedly clashed with police attempting to halt the gathering. The situation escalated, resulting in stone-pelting, attacks, and violent altercations.
The FIR was lodged at Civil Lines Police Station, naming PTI Provincial President Daud Shah Kakar, along with Saddam Tareen, Noor Khan Khilji, Abdul Salam, Najeebullah, Jumma Khan, Mir Hassan, Wali Muhammad, Nawab Khan Domar, Kulsoom Panizai, and Dr. Ehsanullah Khilji.
Additionally, police detained 55 PTI workers. Charges against the leaders include sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act, along with Sections 341, 353, 188, 186, 147, 148, 149, 153, 427, 324, and 337ADF.
