KARACHI: Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) has dismissed recent rumours circulating in the market regarding its potential sale. The clarification was made following inquiries from shareholders and analysts during a corporate briefing session held on November 8, 2024.
In a statement issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday, Attock Refinery said that “no such matter [regarding the sale of the company] is under consideration”. The company assured investors that it is fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
The company’s spokesperson reiterated that it would continue to adhere to all applicable regulations and maintain transparency with its stakeholders.The clarification was submitted under Clause 5.6.2 of the PSX Rule Book. Attock Refinery, based in Rawalpindi, is a key player in the country’s petroleum refining sector.
