LAHORE: The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) on Tuesday announced a 16-member national team for the 4th T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, starting from November 23 in Pakistan.
The selection committee, consisting of Masood Jan, Muhammad Jamil and Tahir Mahmood Butt, announced the names of the team with the approval of PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah.
Nisar Ali will lead the national team with Badar Munir as the vice-captain. The team comprises players in three categories: B1 category: Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Idrees Saleem, Muhammad Shahzaib, Fakhar Abbas, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Salman. B2 category: Babar Ali, Nematullah, Haroon Khan. B3 category: Muhammad Safdar, Kamran Akhtar, Akmal Hayat Nasir, Talha Iqbal, Matiullah.
The reserve players are Muhammad Ayaz, Moin Aslam, and Muhammad Rashid. The team officials are Muhammad Jamil (Head Coach), Masood Jan (Assistant Coach), Malik Abrar Hussain (Team Manager), Naveed Hussain Abbasi (Assistant Manager) and Tahir Mahmood Butt (Trainer).
